AHRI 2025
The Annual Conference of the Association of Human Rights Institutes (AHRI) in 2025 will focus on “Protecting human rights from the global spread of organised crime.” The conference will take place for the first time in Latin America, specifically in Lima, Peru, from September 11-13, 2025 and will be jointly organised in collaboration with the Institute of Democracy and Human Rights of the PUCP (IDEHPUCP) and will also mark AHRI’s 25th anniversary. This conference will explore the intersection of human rights and organised crime, focusing on strategies to counteract the detrimental impact of transnational criminal networks on vulnerable populations, governance, and justice. Submissions on other human rights topics are also encouraged. Selected papers may be considered for publication. The deadline for submission for both paper proposals and panel discussions is 15 March 2025. Click here to access the call for papers.
